Dear St. Paul Cougar Family,

In an effort to further improve school communication, St. Paul is expanding its use of SchoolMessenger to send texts and emails to parents with the latest information and news pertaining to the school.  To help with this, please take the time to download the SchoolMessenger app to your smartphone or mobile device.  Once you download the app, sign up to create a free account on SchoolMessenger and you will receive instant notifications on your phone whenever we send important updates regarding school closings, upcoming events, and any other information that you will need to see quickly.  Once you are signed up, you will be able to manage your preferences on which form of communication you would prefer.   On Friday, February 18, we will be sending a test communication with SchoolMessenger.  After receiving the test message, we would like to hear back from those of you who downloaded the app and signed up, to receive your feedback on it.  It is our intention to make our communication as instantaneous, efficient, and manageable as possible for all of you.  We want every parent to see important information as soon as it is sent out.  Thank you so much for taking the time to download the SchoolMessenger app, sign up, and assist with your feedback.

We had a wonderful chapel service this past Wednesday, as we were visited by Aidan Schwarz and his family.  As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, Aidan struggles with Danon Disease, a rare disorder that is currently being researched.  The proceeds from the chapel offerings this month and Hearts for Jesus cards are going to the Do It for Aidan fund, which assists with research and all the struggles that Aidan and other children with the disease face.  It warmed by heart to see so many children interact with Aidan and get to know him.  It is always good to put a name to a face and see first-hand how our gifts can be used for God’s glory and to assist people in need!  I am so proud of the students here and how they show love and concern to others!  If you missed it, please visit our Facebook page and watch the February 9 chapel service.  It was truly remarkable.  God is good!

Some other items of note:
