On Sunday, March 22, from 9 am to 1 pm our St. Paul community & friends are invited to participate in a serving event in partnership with Phil’s Friends.
Phil’s Friends is a Christian nonprofit organization founded by two-time cancer survivor Phil Zielke. Phil’s Friends is committed to bringing support and hope to those affected by cancer in the United States. They reach out through care packages, offer ongoing support through their Cards of Hope program, and spiritual support by way of prayer.
THE PLAN...
After each Sunday, March 22nd morning service, we invite folks to head to our Family Life Center (gym) to write cards and work on Bible bookmarks which will be sent out to encourage those affected by cancer. The cards and bookmarks will be provided by Phil’s Friends.
We also invite our St. Paul community & friends to bring on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22 the following donated items:
1. Sample size unscented lotion.
2. Lip Balm
3. Playing cards
4. Men's (darker) color rolled fleece
5. Travel size Biotin.
As a bonus, you will have the opportunity to meet Phil during all of our weekend worship services on March 21 and 22 and hear more of his story and the mission God has placed on his life and heart.
