Worship Arts

Adult Choir
The Adult Choir brings sings regularly at the 8:00 traditional service the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month and special services throughout the liturgical year. The choir is open to all people of high school age and older.

Worship Team
The worship team provides music for the 11:00 am contemporary service on Sundays and is comprised of singers and instrumentalists of high school age and up. An audition is required for this ministry.

Instrumentalists
Instruments are frequently used at St. Paul to enhance our worship services.  If you can play an instrument and have at least two years experience, you are invited to audition for this ministry.

Handbell Choir
We are blessed at St. Paul to have a full, five octave set of handbells.  A handbell choir adds another dimension to the sound of majesty during worship.  This ensemble meets on an as needed basis for special worship services throughout the year.  Experience and note reading ability are helpful but not completely necessary.

Special Event Choir
For special occasions such as Christmas Morning or Easter Sunday, a small group is needed.  This is great if you like to sing or play an instrument, but cannot make a weekly commitment in the ministry.  This ensemble rehearses on an as needed basis.

Technical Arts
Lighting, sound and video presentation are an integral part of our worship at St. Paul.  Volunteer staff help make the worship experience more meaningful by enhancing the environment and helping the congregation to participate more fully.

Sanctuary Staff
The Sanctuary Staff works with providing art and environment for the sanctuary.  They help set the scene for worship throughout the liturgical year.  Volunteers are needed to help organize and implement changes to the sanctuary.

Communion Ministers
Communion Ministers help distribute the body and blood of Our Lord at our services. A confirmed member of the LCMS in good standing is allowed to participate as a communion minister. Volunteers are scheduled regularly.

Ushers/Greeters
Our ushers and greeters are the first point of contact with newcomers and church members at St. Paul.  If you are a welcoming person with a great smile, we can always use your help!  Volunteers are scheduled regularly.
